Promote risk reduction for food security and sustainable livelihood Increasing frequencies and intensities of natural disasters, slow onslaught of the climate change and high input based farming has threatened food security of millions of people living in poverty in Mid and Far West region. To exacerbate the situation, farm displaced communities opting for foreign migration as food security coping strategy face a real threat/risk of unsafe and in-humane practices along the migration continuum. We work on four major strategic interventions to reduce risks on food security and livelihood of partner communities.
Popularize and promote climate resilient agriculture practices Facilitate community based disaster riskresilient Promote self-employment, enterprises development and safer migration for youths Engage in humanitarian relief and response.
